Dr. Elizabeth Ehrhardt has been practicing pediatrics for 20 years. She is board certified and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Ehrhardt grew up in Wisconsin. She received her undergraduate degree in biology at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and spent her junior year at the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland. She attended medical school at The University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, Wisconsin and residency at the University of Iowa hospitals and Clinics. Her first job was as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in a satellite clinic practicing general pediatrics in North Liberty, Iowa. She then moved with her husband to San Francisco, California and practiced pediatrics at Kaiser Permanente in Pleasanton, California. She finally found her niche in pediatrics in Pueblo. She joined Dr. Kristen Saathoff in private practice in Pueblo in 1999 and started her own practice at that time. After Dr. Saathoff retired, she founded Stepping Stones Pediatrics. She ran a Development and Evaluation diagnostic clinic for children with developmental disabilities in Pueblo through the Children’s Hospital Colorado and Pueblo County Health Department. Ten years ago, she developed and currently runs an Autism Evaluation Clinic in Pueblo. She is part of the Colorado Psychiatric Access and Consultation for Kids program. Dr. Ehrhardt is very proud of her private practice and the practice that it has become. She is dedicated to the care of her patients and to maintaining an exceptional practice.
Dr. Ehrhardt is married with a teenage daughter and son. She loves Colorado and takes advantage of the opportunities it provides. Along with spending time with her family, she enjoys backpacking, biking, skiing, running and yoga. She loves to travel. Her hobbies include sewing, knitting, stained glass, baking, and eating. She enjoys playing the piano and reading.
